Chris Elaine (McDaniel) English, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a beloved wife and best friend to her college sweetheart, Bryan L. English for 16 years.

In January of 2005, Chris married the love of her life, Bryan, who she met while attending college. Throughout their courtship they shared each other's thoughts, memories and enjoyed playing games like, Ms. Pac-Man. Becoming friends first and eventually falling in love, they protected each other and together they navigated life’s obstacles. In 2006, Chris and Bryan relocated their family to Bowie, Maryland, where they lived for several years before making Waldorf, Maryland their current home. With her commitment to, and love for God, she became an active member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden in 2009.

Chris was a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in which she was initiated on April 27, 1997, in the Rho Rho Chapter at IUP.  She eventually became a member of the Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter, in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  Chris was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, who could be seen every Sunday wearing black and gold and rooting for her team with her Terrible Towel.  Chris was known as a giver and supporter to all who surrounded her. She will be remembered for many things including her wit and humor; reverence for and loyalty to her parents; fidelity to her siblings; dedication to her husband; and motivation for her sons.
