Obituary of Marion P. John

Marion John was born in Ste. Madeleine, Trinidad and Tobago. She was the daughter of the late Etwaria Mohan and the late Primnath Emrith. She was the sister of Carmen, Polo (deceased), Sylvia, Elsa, and Kerry. While at a church fair, she met the late Clarence John, the man she would marry and raise a family with. Along with Clarence, or CJ as he was known, she was the Proprietress of CJ’s Restaurant, an inn on Royal Road, San Fernando, beloved by many for its delicious food, especially the mauby and fry bake and shark.

She leaves to celebrate her memory and cherish her life: her siblings Carmen, Sylvia, Elsa (Errol) and Kerry (Patsy); her children Cheryl  (Michael), Ingrid, Gail (Wayne), Karen (Bryan), Roger (Sandra), and Nigel; her grandchildren Ejima (Anthony), Ejae (Deon), Joi (Willie), Rachel (Angeloe), Shari (Michael), Bryana, Kayla, Niya, Elijah, Kimberly, Tyler, and Glory; and her the great-grandchildren Andrew, Anyah, Amari, Anthony Jr, Naima, Zoe, Ariella, and Michael Kai; her dear friend Merlene Maloney; the Boodoo, Mohan, Gokool, Houlas, Emrith, Ramrattan, Mohammed, Mahabir, and Sinanan families; and a host of other beloved family and friends.
