As we called each other, bantering as we visited, met and dined together.
He was a kind, soft spoken man, well reasoned with deeply held convictions.
Generous to a fault, even knowing that there was no hope of repayment. Going out of his way, selflessly, to help individuals and organizations without thought of recompense.
A good, lifelong friend, supportive of others, loyal to his church and his causes, yet open to dialog with kindred souls.
